Mallory Burrell Anderson is an artist and designer recognized for her versatile contributions to multimedia art making, with a current focus on collage inspired by ecological themes and the concept of home. In 2014, she earned her BFA in Studio Art and BA in Art History from Virginia Tech receiving magna cum laude honors. In 2020, Anderson completed her MFA in intermedia studies from James Madison University where she earned summa cum laude honors. Anderson's artwork has been exhibited in the United States, Europe, and Africa. She has attended residencies in various East Coast states, including StudioELL, Salem Art Works, the Rensing Center, and Azule Art Center.

Anderson has been in publications such as the Sasakawa Foundation in Highgate London, Cartographies of the Imagination: Drawing as World-Building in 2021, as well as, the Mycorrhizine Journal, which did a feature on Anderson’s documentary photography series, Flowers of the Anthropocene, in 2021.

Presently, Mallory Burrell Anderson serves as an adjunct professor in the Art Foundations Program at VCU in Richmond, VA. Anderson recently achieved a significant milestone with a solo exhibition at her alma mater, Virginia Tech, in the Spring of 2023.
