My drawings are influenced by my studio in many ways. Lines in ink mimic the lines of string in my studio for hanging. There is organization with in the chaos. It is how I view the workings of my understanding of how I understand the world. I am always adding more information to the system, and there is always a niche for it to go. Patches within patches, worlds within worlds. I am inspired by the cabinets of curiosities made popular in Europe in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries with their blend of wonder and order.
